SPLITTER IM EXIL – Made in Germany
Überlebende der Explosion einer Handgranate „Made in Germany“ treffen sich nach über 40 Jahren, um auf langfristige Folgen von Rüstungsexporten aufmerksam zu machen:
Am 21.04.1981 demonstrierten in Teheran vor allem junge Menschen gegen die Schließung der Universitäten durch das neue Regime. Bei der Demonstration wurden mehrere Handgranaten in die Menge geworfen. Es gab drei Tote und hunderte Verletzte. Eine mit deutschen Handgranaten begangene Tat. Ein Teil der Demonstrierenden konnte fliehen.
Im Sommer 2022 treffen sich Überlebende der Katastrophe und Unterstützer:innen zum ersten Mal persönlich. Um ihrem Schicksal einen Sinn zu geben, möchten sie ihre Perspektive auf die Geschichte Deutsch-Iranischer Beziehungen ausdrücken und öffentlichkeitswirksam nach außen tragen. Ihre Themen sind unter anderem: Verantwortung, Bekämpfung von Extremismus, Zusammenhänge zwischen Fluchtursachen und Waffenexporten, transgenerationale Folgen der Flucht für ihre Nachkommen.
Ihre Frage ist angesichts des Ukraine-Kriegs hochaktuell. Können die langfristigen, globalen Auswirkungen von Rüstungsexporten überhaupt kalkuliert werden?
Achtung: Die Veranstaltung wird gefilmt und im Internet übertragen. Zusätzlich werden Aufnahmen für einen Dokumentarfilm gemacht.

Vortrag und Buchvorstellung
Helga Baumgarten, geb. 1947 in Stuttgart, zählt sicherlich zu den renommiertesten KennerInnen des israelisch-palästinensischen Konflikts. Sie studierte u.a. Geschichte, Politikwissenschaft und Arabisch in Tübingen, New York, Beirut und Göttingen. 1985 promovierte sie an der FU Berlin.Von 1993 bis 2020 war sie Professorin für Politikwissenschaft an der palästinensischen Universität Birzeit im Westjordanland.

ANTI-MILITARY HARBOUR TOUR
The anti-militarist harbour tour lasts about 90 minutes and takes us to historical and current places of arms production/storage and export. During the tour, the colleagues will explain the history of the places visited as well as their current significance. Current and past examples bring the militaristic history of the port back to life and reveal a glimpse behind its unknown sides.

Referentin: Sudann Witt-Stahl, Journalistin und Autorin, Berlin und Hamburg, Chefredakteurin des Maganzins für Gegenkultur Melodie & Rhythmus. Sie hat für Tageszeitungen und Zeitschriften aus der Ukraine und dem Nahen Osten berichtet und diverse Bücher und Essays veröffentlicht. Ihre Arbeitsschwerpunkte sind: Ideologiekritik der Rechtsentwicklung in den westlichen Gesellschaften, der Kulturindustrie und Ästhetisierung des Krieges.

TALKING ABOUT WARS - an ideas workshop for primary schools
The team of GEW Committee for Peace Education wants to exchange ideas, materials, didactic and pedagogical considerations with you and think about how we can approach the topic in primary schools - depending on the composition - in an appropriate and sensitive way.
For whom? Target group are colleagues from primary schools, teachers, special needs teachers and educators together with experienced colleagues from the GEW Committee for Peace Education.

12 meters long, 2.40 meters wide and 2.40 meters high - these are the dimensions of the most common sea containers, many of which are shipped around the world every day via the Port of Hamburg
12 by 2.40 meters is the "field" of cartridges that will be laid out on the landing stages during this art action
We send ammunition, weapons and other armaments to the world - according to Investigate Europe also to Russia, and even until 2020 - what do we harvest when these weapons are used?
